Varna District Prosecutor's Office starts checking the Historical Park

At the citizen’s call, the Varna district prosecutor’s office begins checking the Historical Park. On Thursday, the Financial Supervisory Commission also asked the prosecutor's office to inspect a historic landmark by the sea.

During the check, it is necessary to find out whether they were misled  investors of a gigantic patriotic project.

The historical park is located near the village of Neofit Rilski in Varna and has an area of ​​130 decares, showing buildings and lifestyles for 5 different historical eras. The ambition of the creators is to become the largest such park in the world.

The implementation of the project of the Historical Park began 9 years ago.

“Then we had five shareholders,” says Ivelin Mikhailov.

And today there are about 1000 of them.

“We found adherents. I sell stocks that benefit someone. If they want, they can use them speculatively or something like that, ”Mikhailov said in front of the New Television camera.

Namely, in order to find out how the shares are sold, the Financial Supervision Commission submitted the data of its investigation to the prosecutor's office. The written statement says that, in their opinion, it is likely that the persons who acquired the shares of the company were provided with misleading information about where their money is going - whether for building a park or for other purposes.

“Money is credited to the account of the person holding the shares. According to the law, it cannot be otherwise, ”Mikhailov explained.

The CEO of the company introduces us to Christian. 27 years old from Sofia. One of the shareholders. Refuses to say how much money he invested. But he says he found a seller on the Internet.

“I did not fit naively. I asked the most impossible questions, ”says Christian Stoilkov.

Mikhailov says he is not worried about the upcoming prosecutor’s inspection. And it is clear that there can be no talk of a financial pyramid.

“For there to be a pyramid, you need money to leave the project. What we did, if someone can do it in less than 50-70 million leva. Then we can say that there are people who are misled, "Mikhailov said.

Meanwhile, construction work in the Historical Park continues.
