The procedure for the purchase of real estate by a foreign person is no different from the procedure for the purchase by a Bulgarian citizen. A foreign person has the same rights, including also the right to rent out his or her housing.

Foreign citizens of the European Union have the right to purchase "property in Bulgaria" with a land plot.

Foreign citizens NOT of the European Union have the right to purchase "property in Bulgaria" without a land plot.
If a foreign citizen NOT of the European Union wants to buy a house with a land plot, you need to register a law firm in Bulgaria. The company is registered within 3-7 days. As a rule, only a land plot is issued for a company, but if necessary, a house can also be registered for it, otherwise the purchase has the same procedure (secondary housing, from the developer) as without a land plot. One of the best options for buying a house without registering a land plot is to buy a villa in a complex.
